HELP! i am too scared to go to the doctor!?
im 14 and female. i have been smoking weed and ciggarettes for a while now, and i know its bad so i have stopped compltely very recently. however, im too scared to go to the doctor for anything because i dont want it to show up. i really cant tell my mum because i know how she will react and i cant do that to her. telling my mum ISNT an option so please dont bother to tell me to be honest with her. i really dont want to go to the doctor for anything because im scared that it will show and she will find out. how long does it take for it to be completely out of my system? its urgent please!!!!
Answer:Unless someone is testing for it, they aren't going to know. If you have to go to the doctor for a medical problem you are going to have to get over this. It can take a few weeks, but past that it can take months if they wanted to test your hair, you aren't going to shave that all off are you?
Answer:Unless they are concerned that your health problems are caused by your smoking weed or cigarettes, there would be no reason for the doctor to check. This would be done by a urine test in most cases.
But really, you should feel comfortable talking to your doctor about drugs and alcohol. Conversations between doctors and teenage patients are confidential (meaning they are NOT allowed to tell your parents) except for three circumstances: 1) you are going to hurt yourself; 2)you are going to hurt someone else; or 3) someone else is hurting you. Other than that…sex, drugs and alcohol are all topics that he/she should NOT be talking to your parents about.

Weed lasts in your system 3 1/2 weeks on average i can get it outta my system in just under 2 weeks by exercise and cranberries juice cuz it is an anti oxidant and if you do ecstasy that helps to clean that out and kill your roll also, but ciggies wont show up and even if they do a urine test and shows up u got THC in it its between you and the Dr, they cant reveal it to your mom, patient confidentiality
