im trying to explain a friend that not all women bleed when they have their first time, but i don;t know how to explain her, cause im not a doctor hahaha, but i just can't find a way to explain why not all women bleed.

Answer:Not all women bleed the first time they have sex, because bleeding is caused by tearing the hymen – a thin layer or film of tissue that partly covers the vaginal opening.

Some women's hymens tear while they are doing athletic activities. or riding bikes or horses. Some women's hymens tear when they insert tampons. Some tear when they masturbate, if they insert something into their vagina.

Once the hymen is torn apart, it essentially disappears (sometimes there is a little flap of skin left here or there). This leaves the opening of the vagina, which is made to accommodate a penis, and eventually an entire baby's head. So the vagina is plenty stretchy.

So, no hymen, no bleeding. Really thin hymen, tiny bit of bleeding. Really thick hymen, sometimes quite a bit of bleeding – and on rare occasions, the hymen can be so tough that one needs to have a GYN snip it open, because trying to force a penis past it causes too much pain.

Answer:Not all women bleed because sometimes a tampon or something else could have already popped the hymen.

Answer:Not all women bleed because the hymen may have been ruptured before the sex by any sort of strenuous activity, be it gymnastics, running, horseback riding, dancing….etc., or by using tampons.

Also, all women are different, the breaking of the hymen doesn't ensure that there will be blood.

Answer:When your hymen rips, you bleed, but it can only happen once. If you use tampons and one time, the tampon ripped your hymen, during your first time, you couldn't bleed, because it's already gone.
