Why am I getting pink urine?

It started happening yesterday and I don't understand why it's pink or what could have caused it. I've been thinking and I realized I haven't drank much water lately, so could it be dehydration?

I was looking at medical sites and one site said that eating beetroot could cause it to go pink. The night that this started happening I ate beetroot for the first time, so I am leaning towards this…however I'm just not sure.

I am sure though that I don't have a Urinary Tract Infection.

Any opinions on what is causing this?

Answer:The following medical conditions are some of the possible causes of Pink urine. There are likely to be other possible causes, so ask your doctor about your symptoms.

* Medications (e.g. laxatives and drugs with phenolphthalein)

* Beetroot

* Blackberries

* Hematuria

* Hemolysis

* Hemoglobinuria

* Burns

* Glomerulonephritis

* Urinary tract infection

Answer:I think if you were dehydrated, wouldn't it be extremely yellow? I don't drink much water and mines never been pink.

Answer:Perhaps it's the beet root. It could be porphyria (highly unlikely). Go to the doctor and find out the real reason.

Answer:Drink plenty of water could be a tear in the vaginal area. Soak your body

Answer:gross you probably ate to much red stuff!
